Karma is a non-verbal theatrical performance which consist of drama, martial arts and a bit drum performance. It has structured story line and it inserts some martial performances along the story. The story is about jealousy, betrayal, and how one recovers from greediness. Also, there are also some painting performances which makes it more interesting. The play time is about one hour and a half. The theater is called Karma Theater (Gaya Theater) located at exit 7 of Chungjongno Station (충정로역). Opens everyday: Weekdays 8PM, Saturday 3PM and 7PM, and Sunday 3PM. The ticket fares are KRW 70,000 for VIP, KRW 50,000 for R-seat, and KRW 40,000 for S-seat.
As a K-Performance Supporter, I got a chance to enjoy the show. The theater is pretty small which makes it more private and enjoyable. One of good points beside the story is different (even though it's quite predictable), there is this one distinct character which I might say put a distinction for Karma among the other performances. The name "Karma" itself, though, quite irrelevant with the story. I do not know why they chose this name, but before watching this performance, I was expecting something more related to the word "Karma".
Nevertheless, exclusive-feel theater, good location, and different story, I guess it is worth watching. Enjoy!
