Escape to South!! -- SUNCHEON

Fulfilling my wild desire of Suncheon Bay, we went to the 40minutes-away-from-Yeosu Suncheon city. The first time, I thought Suncheon was a very small city which would be like a village, but then once I arrived there, I was so surprised because it was actually not really small. The first place we visited once we reached Suncheon was the information center in Suncheon Station.

From here, we asked a lady in the information center and she showed us the bus stop which was only around the station and from that bus stop we took bus number 67 which is the only bus going to Suncheon Bay (it is 순천만 [Suncheonman] in Korean). The fare is only KRW1,100 for 1 trip. Never believe the information screen on the bus stop which tells you how many minutes you have to wait for every bus, it lies ㅋㅋ. Anyway, took about 20-30 minutes to get the Suncheon Bay, the view from the bus was quite calm and peace because we were going across some villages.

You don't have to pay any entrance fee. Here, there are Museum and Star Observatory, but we did not go there since we have limited time. Instead we rode a train which goes through some track and the guide will explain about the view which I could not really understand.

Took around 35 minutes. And since it is already winter, so we could not see any green thing but we saw the amazing gold-colored wide field which is separated by a (or maybe some) river. It was actually less than I expected, but the environment was really calm and peace and it was not cold, too. I was really satisfied with the scenery.

The journey ended here. It was a really interesting 3 days and 2 nights. In order to get back to Daejeon, we went back to Suncheon Inter-city Bus Station and we needed to go to Gwangju since they don't have direct bus to Daejeon. KRW6,400 for Suncheon - Gwangju and it takes around 1 hour 20 minutes and KRW9,900 from Gwangju to Daejeon which takes around 2hours 30 minutes.
