Visit Yeosu 2012 -- Yup, Yeosu City is having this expo in 2012, I have seen the plan and it will be really awesome, so you have to visit Yeosu in 2012 ^^.
It takes like 3 hours from Busan to Yeosu. We arrived at Yeosu in the evening and we directly go to our first destination which was a bridge. The don't have Tourist Information Center in the bus terminal which I guess they should have one since ... hello~~you are having an expo in 2012, but we got the tourist map and we were trying to find the way to get to the bridge. They also don't have subway, so the only way to find the bridge was ... asking the locals hahahah. Yeah even though with our limited skill of Korean, we did ask people, and we actually managed to get to the bridge.

Yeosu is mentioned as the city of light~I guess Gwangju is better to be called city of light, but maybe this one is the reason why Yeosu is called the city of light.

There was also a board sign which says that this place also was a place where a certain drama took place. Anyway, since Yeosu doesn't have subway, we then again had a problem to go back to bus station to find a place to rest. By asking a very friendly local, we managed to get back.
Next day, we decided to take city tour bus departing from Yeosu Station at 10.30 and you need to pay KRW4000. By this bus, we went to the information center where we can watch a short video showing about the expo that will be held there in Yeosu in 2012. It was really amazing video. I think it will be a very successful event.
Next destination is Odong-do island. We actually could go by bus, but then we decided to take a boat to go around the island. There were a lot of birds and it was a nice view, just like any other islands.
Arriving at the island, we directly went to a track which the guide explained one by one about the island, the flora, and some spots. This track led us to a light house that we can get inside and see the view from the top. After that, we went to another place which was a kind of museum.
Anyway, we were supposed to continue the trip until 18.00, but then because I had a huge obsession of going to Suncheon Bay, we decided to finish earlier and going to Suncheon City. Departing from Yeosu Express Bus terminal, by only KRW4000 we spent 45minutes in the bus heading to Suncheon City!!!
