World Students in Korea

Cheers for me ~~ I am officially one of the members of World Students in Korea. What is that? It is a program for International students in Korea hosted by Presidential Council on Nation Branding. The program that I have joined is in the third batch.

The objectives are:

1. To provide international students in Korea with the opportunity to experience Korea in a more organized, diverse, involved manner.

2. To promote cultural exchange and to strengthen ties between Korea and the students' home countries bu the means of blogs run by each member student.

3. Hence, to ultimately contribute to improving Korea's standing in the international community.

on May 4, 2010 at the National Museum of Korea, I attended the opening ceremony for the third batch and also the award ceremony for the second batch. Here are those with big smiles :)

So, for the current batch, there are 53 participants from 26 countries. It is going to be interesting because the members of second batch seemed to be really satisfied and glad that they have joined this program.

For my self, I love travelling. I have a motto that I have to try every interesting thing at least once(that is including Bungee Jumping and Sky Diving which I really really want to try). World Students in Korea has given me a chance to taste the unique and interesting culture of Korea. I am pretty sure this will be a very amazing experience. Thank you PCNB.

앙가 May 5, 2010 02.30 -- Hey it's 어린이날 [ Orininal ] --> for Korean it means Children's Day, for me it also means Holiday ^^.

--and oh I got an 4GB card drive as a gift from PCNB -- funny, because some days before I told my roommate that I wanted to buy a pen drive. And this card drive is like only for World Students in Korea program members only. Aww limited edition ;).
